Kids

In a study commissioned by the Home Sewing Association, it was revealed that kids ages 8 to 12 showed an increased level of creativity after sewing a  simple project compared with kids who watched TV or played video games. In addition to increased creativity and self-esteem, the kids appear to build real skills such as problem solving and perseverance.

We at Style Fabrics know firsthand that kids and sewing are a great mix! Our Beginning Sewing for Kids is available at 2 levels  - sign up early, there's always a waiting list! We also offer  Project Style! (an open sewing class), Holiday Projects Classes, Doll Clothes Classes and a summer program called Kids Klub. While learning valuable skills, the emphasis is always on FUN! Check the class schedule for specific dates and times.

Store tours are available FREE of charge for organizations such as Girl Scouts, 4-H and schools. The tours last approximately 45 minutes and conclude with a fun sewing/craft project.
