Sewing Tips

Use Fray Check™ to seal up buttonholes. Once you've established the correct size, dab the buttonhole with Fray Check™  before cutting. This will eliminate all those little threads. If you're afraid of soaking the fabric, for more control, use a toothpick to apply Fray Check™.

Don't skip that understitching! Even though we're all always short on time, understitching is actually a time saver! After attaching your facing & trimming & clipping the seam allowance, open up the facing & place right side up on your sewing machine. Making sure that the seam allowance is laying towards the facing, sew through the facing & seam allowance very close to the seam line. Understitching will keep the facing from rolling out & will make pressing easier & faster!
